Nicola has a strong natural aptitude for accents and dialects, supported by a wide exposure to and understanding of many different cultures.  She is fluent in French and German with basic conversational Spanish, Greek and Cantonese and a knowledge of Asian and Latin languages (Japanese, Malay Indonesian, Italian).

Nicola studied French & German, at INSTITUTE FRANCAIS, London; Sorbonne Examination in Language & Literature, Paris; and is a member of the Institute of Linguists, London. She also obtained RSA Certificate in TEFL(ESL), London.

While living in Hong Kong Nicola ran a private teaching practice in English, French and German.  She has taught English both in schools and private practice on a one to one basis in England & Australia over the past 10 years while performing in both these countries.

Over a period of 5 years Nicola travelled throughout Asia, learning various languages on the way, living with local people, and developing a knowledge of many different cultures.  In Guatamala, she studied Spanish while living with local families.

German Dialogue Coach on, coaching lead actors - Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, Alison Doody, Michael Byrne in German accent and dialogue. Also responsible for translating and improvising German script while shooting, and coaching all minor German roles. Also assisted in coaching Turkish dialogue.

Dialogue Coach in major BERLIN production, coaching the non-German speaking actors to perform Shakespearean text in German for Berlin audiences.
