Scott is the Associate Director of Queensland Theatre Company and in 2003 directs the World Premiere of ROAD TO THE SHE-DEVIL’S SALON for QTC and the QTC / State Theatre Company of South Australia co-production of SCAPIN.  In 2002 Scott was Intern Director for Queensland Theatre Company and directed the highly acclaimed production MAD HERCULES as part of the inaugural season at the new Bille Brown Studio.  Other directorial work includes ZOO-ILLOGICAL which toured to the 2000 Adelaide Fringe Festival and OH WHAT A LOVELY WAR at the Woodward Theatre.  In 2002 Scott was Assistant Director for a number of Queensland Theatre Company productions including the new Michael Gow work RICHARD MAHONY.

Scott is the President of the Society of Australian Fight Directors, Associate Artistic Director of the International Order of the Sword and Pen, Honourary and Certified Member of the British Academy of Dramatic Combat and an Honourary Fight Director of Fight Directors Canada. Scott is the current Intern Director for the Queensland Theatre Company.

Scott has been working in stage, television and film since 1984. Acting and or Fight Directing for Queensland Theatre Company, La Boite Theatre, Zen Zen Zo, Bell Shakespeare, Queensland Performing Arts Trust, Opera Queensland, Someone, ABC TV and many independent and short films.  As an Instructor of Stage Combat and Fight Direction Scott has taught nationally and internationally.

Nationally – Queensland University of Technology: Creative Industries - Resident teacher since 1998, University of Southern Queensland - Resident teacher 1999-2000, James Cook University - Resident teacher 1998-2001, Actors Conservatory - Resident teacher 1997-2000, Opera Queensland and the National Institute of Dramatic Art – Guest Teacher.

Internationally – Canada: Paddy Crean International Stage Combat Workshop – Resident Artist 1999 ,2000, 2001 & 2003. Scotland: Paddy Crean International Stage Combat Workshop - Resident Artist 1999. Wales: Welsh College of Music and Drama – Guest Teacher 2000. England – Mountview Theatre School, East 15 Acting School, Guilford School of Acting, Bristol Old Vic, Rose Bruford, Limelight School of Acting - Isle of Wight, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art – Guest Teacher 2000. United States of America: American Academy of Classical Acting - Guest Teacher 2000.

Scott has also been a recipient of two Arts Queensland Grants for the further development of Stage Combat and Fight Direction.  Currently Scott is completing his Masters in Fine Art at Queensland University of Technology in Stage Combat and Fight Direction.
